Nature's Will

Aggravated Assault + Nature's Will

Overview
Activate Aggravated Assault as a sorcery during one of your main phases to untap your creatures and create an additional combat phase (and an additional main phase) after this main phase . Each time combat damage is dealt in a combat phase, Nature's Will will trigger once for that combat damage event and, when that trigger resolves, will tap the lands the damaged player controls and untap your lands (it’s one trigger per damage event, not one per creature) Ruling [2004-12-01].
Step 1
Activate Aggravated Assault only during one of your main phases when you have priority (it’s an ability that must be activated as a sorcery) .
Step 2
Resolve the activation: Aggravated Assault untaps all creatures you control immediately (this is not the regular untap step) and creates an additional combat phase followed by an additional main phase after this main phase .
Step 3
Proceed to the additional combat phase created by Aggravated Assault. Declare attackers normally; untapped creatures can be declared as attackers and tapping/untapping does not remove a creature from combat if it was already attacking or blocking .
Step 4
During the combat damage step, combat damage is assigned and then dealt simultaneously .
Step 5
When combat damage is dealt to a player, Nature’s Will triggers once for that combat-damage event and is put on the stack Ruling [2004-12-01].
Step 6
When Nature’s Will’s triggered ability resolves, it taps all lands the damaged player controls and untaps all lands you control (this untapping simply readies mana — it does not by itself let you play additional lands) Ruling [2004-12-01].
Step 7
After the additional combat phase ends the additional main phase created by Aggravated Assault begins, during which you may play lands (subject to the normal one-land-per-turn rule) and take other main-phase actions .
Step 8
If you paid Aggravated Assault’s activation cost again (you may do so if you have the mana) you can create another additional combat phase and repeat the sequence; Nature’s Will will trigger again each time combat damage is dealt in each combat phase [Ruling 2004-10-04].
Resolution
You may activate Aggravated Assault only during a main phase when you have priority (it’s an activated ability that can be activated only as a sorcery) . When its activation resolves it untaps all your creatures immediately and creates an additional combat phase followed by an additional main phase. In each combat phase created this way, when one or more of your creatures deal combat damage to a player, Nature’s Will triggers once for that combat damage event; when that trigger resolves it taps that player’s lands and untaps your lands Ruling [2004-12-01]. You may pay Assault’s cost multiple times in a turn if you have the mana to do so, producing additional combats and additional Nature’s Will triggers for each time combat damage is dealt [Ruling 2004-10-04].
