Archaeomancer + High Tide + Snap

Overview
With High Tide on the stack (or already resolved) and Archaeomancer and Snap available, the normal sequence is: Archaeomancer enters -> its triggered ability returns Snap from your graveyard to your hand (that trigger resolves on the stack) . You may then cast Snap (an instant). When Snap resolves it returns a creature (for example, Archaeomancer) to its owner's hand and untaps up to two lands; because the untap effect doesn’t target you choose which lands to untap as Snap resolves , Ruling [2022-12-08]. Any Islands you tap for mana while High Tide’s effect is active produce additional {U} when they are tapped [High Tide oracle text], including Islands that entered the battlefield after High Tide resolved Ruling [2022-12-08]. Snap itself is put into its owner’s graveyard as the final part of its resolution , so replaying Archaeomancer can recur Snap again (Archaeomancer’s ETB can target a freshly-graved Snap) Ruling [2018-12-07].
Step 1
Cast High Tide (instant). When it resolves, it creates a continuous effect until end of turn: whenever a player taps an Island for mana, that player adds an additional {U}.
Step 2
Have Archaeomancer enter the battlefield (for example by casting it). When Archaeomancer enters, its triggered ability is put on the stack; when that trigger resolves it returns a target instant or sorcery card (for example Snap) from your graveyard to your hand .
Step 3
Cast Snap (instant) from your hand. When you pay for Snap you may tap Islands; because High Tide is active, each Island tapped for mana will produce an extra {U}.
Step 4
When Snap resolves, it returns the targeted creature to its owner's hand (check the target is still legal on resolution ), then untaps up to two lands. You choose which lands to untap as Snap resolves; those lands aren't targeted and they don't have to be lands you control Ruling [2022-12-08] .
Step 5
After Snap untaps Islands you may tap those Islands again for mana; each time you tap an Island while High Tide's effect is active you get the extra {U}.
Step 6
Snap finishes resolving and is put into its owner's graveyard as the final part of the instant's resolution .
Step 7
If you bounced Archaeomancer with Snap and then replay Archaeomancer, its ETB can target Snap now that Snap is in your graveyard Ruling [2018-12-07]; when that ETB resolves it returns Snap to your hand again, letting you repeat the sequence as long as you can pay the casting costs.
Resolution
Archaeomancer’s enter-the-battlefield trigger can return Snap from your graveyard to your hand; you can cast Snap and, as it resolves, untap up to two lands (you choose which, they aren’t targeted) Ruling [2022-12-08] and then tap those Islands to generate extra {U} because High Tide is active (High Tide’s continuous effect applies when Islands are tapped) , Ruling [2022-12-08]. Snap is put into your graveyard as it finishes resolving , so if you bounce Archaeomancer with that Snap and then replay Archaeomancer you can recur Snap again Ruling [2018-12-07]. Target checks (for Snap’s creature target) are performed on resolution .
