Gruul Turf + Kodama of the East Tree + Rampaging Baloths

Overview
When you play Gruul Turf while you control Kodama of the East Tree and Rampaging Baloths, Gruul Turf enters tapped and three triggered abilities will see that land enter: Gruul Turf's own "When this land enters, return a land you control to its owner's hand" trigger, Kodama's "Whenever another permanent you control enters..." trigger, and Rampaging Baloths' landfall trigger. These triggers are placed on the stack and will resolve in the order you (the controller) choose; when Kodama's trigger resolves it may put a permanent with mana value equal to or less than the entering permanent from your hand onto the battlefield, which can itself cause additional Baloths landfall and Kodama triggers. State-based actions and triggered-ability processing follow normal rules and .
Step 1
You play Gruul Turf as a land (you do not cast it) ; it enters the battlefield tapped (per its Oracle text).
Step 2
The game sees a permanent (a land) enter the battlefield. That event causes three triggered abilities to trigger: Gruul Turf's ETB "When this land enters, return a land you control to its owner's hand," Rampaging Baloths' Landfall trigger, and Kodama's "Whenever another permanent you control enters..." trigger. Triggered abilities are generated and will be placed on the stack following the rules for triggered abilities and priority checks .
Step 3
You control all three triggers, so you put them on the stack in the order you choose (the controller of triggered abilities chooses the order in which those abilities are put on the stack) and then the active player gets priority and they resolve in last-put, first-resolve order .
Step 4
When Kodama's trigger resolves (it was triggered by Gruul Turf entering), it checks the condition in its rule text: the entering permanent (Gruul Turf) was not put onto the battlefield with Kodama's ability, so you may put a permanent card with equal or lesser mana value from your hand onto the battlefield. If you choose a land from your hand and put it onto the battlefield with Kodama's effect, that is a separate permanent entering the battlefield (it was put onto the battlefield by Kodama).
Step 5
That new land entering will itself cause Rampaging Baloths' landfall trigger (it sees a land entering) and Kodama's "another permanent enters" trigger to trigger again. The newly generated Kodama trigger will, when it resolves, check whether the permanent that caused it was put onto the battlefield with Kodama's ability; because it was, Kodama's ability will not let you put another permanent onto the battlefield in response to that particular trigger (Kodama's condition prevents recursion).
Step 6
Separately, when Gruul Turf's own ETB trigger resolves it returns a land you control to its owner's hand. You may choose any land you control at that time (including the original Gruul Turf or the land Kodama just put onto the battlefield). If you control no other lands when the ETB resolves and you must return a land, you will return Gruul Turf to your hand as per the official ruling [Ruling [2013-04-15]].
Step 7
Each time a land actually enters the battlefield you control (whether you played it or Kodama put it onto the battlefield), Rampaging Baloths' landfall trigger will trigger and create a 4/4 Beast token when that landfall trigger resolves.
Resolution
Play Gruul Turf as a land (it isn't cast) ; it enters tapped and the game notices one land entering the battlefield. Three triggered abilities are generated (Gruul Turf's ETB return, Kodama's trigger, and Baloths' landfall). All are triggered abilities and are handled after the event per . You order and resolve them like normal triggered abilities. If you resolve Kodama's trigger (it sees Gruul Turf entering and Gruul Turf was not put onto the battlefield by Kodama), you may put from your hand a permanent card with mana value equal or less than the entering permanent onto the battlefield; putting a land onto the battlefield this way will cause Rampaging Baloths to trigger again and will cause Kodama to trigger again for that new land, but that second Kodama trigger will check and find the permanent was put onto the battlefield by Kodama's ability and so won’t let you put yet another permanent with the same test. If you control no other lands when Gruul Turf's ETB resolves, its ability will return itself to your hand (it is a valid choice) as noted in the official ruling [Ruling [2013-04-15]].
