Karametra's Acolyte + Kogla, the Titan Ape

Overview
Karametra’s Acolyte’s {T}: Add an amount of {G} equal to your devotion to green is a mana ability, so it resolves immediately when you activate it and uses the devotion value at that moment . Kogla’s {3}{G}{G}{G} mana cost contributes three green symbols to your devotion only once Kogla is a permanent you control (i.e., after it’s on the battlefield). That means you cannot tap Acolyte to produce mana that counts Kogla’s green symbols before Kogla has entered the battlefield. If Kogla is on the battlefield when you activate Acolyte, Kogla’s green symbols will be counted in devotion and the ability will add more {G} accordingly .
Step 1
You may activate Karametra’s Acolyte’s {T}: Add an amount of {G} equal to your devotion to green. That is a mana ability because it has no target and could put mana into your mana pool when it resolves .
Step 2
When you activate the Acolyte’s {T} ability it resolves immediately (it doesn’t use the stack) and adds green mana equal to your devotion to green at that precise moment .
Step 3
If Kogla is not yet on the battlefield when you activate Acolyte, Kogla’s three green symbols from its mana cost are not part of your devotion yet, so they are not counted by Acolyte’s ability. The mana added is computed without Kogla’s contribution .
Step 4
If instead Kogla is already a permanent you control on the battlefield when you activate Acolyte, Kogla’s {G}{G}{G} in its mana cost counts toward your devotion and Acolyte’s ability will add more {G} accordingly .
Step 5
Any mana added to your mana pool by Acolyte’s ability is in your pool and remains usable even if devotion or permanents change later; the ability already resolved and produced that mana .
Step 6
Kogla’s ETB triggered ability (the fight) is separate; follow the ruling about that ability: if its target is illegal when the triggered ability tries to resolve, it doesn’t resolve; if Kogla has left the battlefield before that triggered ability resolves, no fight damage is dealt (Ruling [2020-04-17]).
Resolution
Acolyte’s activated ability is a mana ability and resolves immediately when activated, using the current devotion to green at that moment . Therefore you cannot rely on Kogla’s three green mana symbols to increase the amount of green produced by Acolyte’s ability if you activate that ability before Kogla is on the battlefield. If Kogla is already on the battlefield when you activate Acolyte, Kogla does count toward devotion and the ability produces the larger amount of {G} . Also note Kogla’s “enter the battlefield” triggered fight ability behaves as described in the ruling: if the target is illegal when that ability tries to resolve, it doesn’t resolve; if Kogla isn’t on the battlefield when the ability resolves, no damage is dealt from the fight (Ruling [2020-04-17]).
