Overview

If Archon of Sun's Grace is already on the battlefield when Secret Arcade (or Dusty Parlor) enters the battlefield as an enchantment, Archon’s Constellation ability will trigger and create a 2/2 Pegasus token; that Pegasus will have lifelink because Archon grants lifelink to Pegasus creatures you control . Also note that Dusty Parlor’s “Whenever you cast an enchantment spell” ability does not trigger for the spell that put Dusty Parlor onto the battlefield (because that ability isn’t on the battlefield while you’re casting the spell), and Rooms that enter from zones other than the stack enter with both halves locked [Ruling [2024-09-20]].

Step 1

You cast Secret Arcade or Dusty Parlor (or it otherwise enters the battlefield) and the spell resolves, putting that Room onto the battlefield as an enchantment .

Step 2

When the Room enters the battlefield, Archon of Sun's Grace sees an enchantment entering under your control and its Constellation triggered ability triggers (the trigger is put on the stack) .

Step 3

That Constellation trigger resolves and creates a 2/2 white Pegasus creature token with flying (a creature entering the battlefield under your control) as the effect instructs.

Step 4

Archon’s static ability ‘Pegasus creatures you control have lifelink’ is a continuous effect that applies to the token while it’s on the battlefield, so the Pegasus token has lifelink from Archon .

Dusty Parlor’s cast-trigger will not trigger for itself when it is the spell being cast, and Rooms entering from other zones than the stack enter with both halves locked [Ruling [2024-09-20]].
