Aurelia, the Warleader + Sword of Hearth and Home

Overview
When Aurelia, the Warleader attacks while equipped with Sword of Hearth and Home, Aurelia’s attack trigger (the “first time” attack trigger) will create an additional combat phase after the current combat [Ruling 2024-11-08]. If Aurelia deals combat damage to a player while equipped, Sword of Hearth and Home’s triggered ability can exile a target creature you own and then put that creature and a basic land onto the battlefield simultaneously when that ability resolves [Ruling 2021-06-18] and as that ability resolves as a single effect .
Step 1
Declare attackers: you attack with Aurelia. Aurelia’s triggered ability “Whenever Aurelia attacks for the first time each turn …” triggers at the time she becomes an attacking creature and goes on the stack; when it resolves it will untap your creatures and create an additional combat phase after this one [Ruling 2024-11-08].
Step 2
Proceed through combat: the combat proceeds to combat damage; Aurelia deals combat damage to a player while equipped, which causes Sword of Hearth and Home’s triggered ability to trigger and go on the stack.
Step 3
Resolve Sword’s trigger: when Sword’s triggered ability resolves, you exile up to one target creature you own and search your library for a basic land, then put both cards onto the battlefield under your control; the putting-onto-battlefield part happens simultaneously for the creature and the land [Ruling 2021-06-18] and ability resolution rules apply .
Step 4
If you targeted Aurelia with Sword: Aurelia is exiled as part of the ability’s resolution and then re-enters the battlefield simultaneously with the chosen basic land. The attack-trigger that was created when Aurelia first attacked earlier in the combat remains resolved/has already resolved and still produces the additional combat phase as appropriate [Ruling 2024-11-08].
Step 5
After this combat: move from the end of the current combat phase directly to the beginning of combat of the additional combat phase (you do not get extra main phases) [Ruling 2024-11-08].
Step 6
Additional combat: if Aurelia re-entered the battlefield and you declare her as an attacker in that additional combat, the re-entered Aurelia is a new object and its 'attacks for the first time each turn' trigger will trigger when it attacks (because that specific object hasn’t attacked yet this turn), producing its untap effect and another additional combat after that phase if it is the first time that object has attacked this turn [Ruling 2024-11-08].
Resolution
If Aurelia attacks, her attack-trigger will still create the additional combat phase even if Sword’s triggered ability later exiles Aurelia during resolution — the attack-trigger was put on the stack when she attacked and can resolve independently. Sword’s triggered ability, when it resolves, performs its whole effect as a single event and the creature and the basic land enter the battlefield at the same time [Ruling 2021-06-18] and per ability-resolution rules . If you targeted Aurelia with Sword’s exile-as-part-of-resolution, Aurelia will be exiled and then re-enter the battlefield simultaneously with the land; the earlier attack-trigger is unaffected. The re-entered Aurelia is a new object and can be declared as an attacker in the additional combat (and, if it attacks then, its “attacks for the first time each turn” ability will trigger again), which can produce further interactions [Ruling 2024-11-08].
