Brain Freeze + Lion's Eye Diamond + Underworld Breach
Overview
With Underworld Breach on the battlefield you can cast Brain Freeze and Lion’s Eye Diamond from your graveyard using escape; each time you cast Brain Freeze it will produce storm copies per the Storm rule , and you can use Lion’s Eye Diamond’s mana ability (which is a mana ability that resolves immediately) to generate the mana to keep casting/escaping spells and loop the sequence so you can mill large amounts (potentially the whole library) provided you have sufficient graveyard fodder and legal targets [Ruling 2004-10-04] [Ruling 2020-01-24].
Step 1
Have Underworld Breach on the battlefield and have Brain Freeze and Lion’s Eye Diamond in your graveyard along with at least three other nonland cards to be used as escape fodder.
Step 2
Cast Lion’s Eye Diamond from your graveyard using its escape cost (exile three other cards from your graveyard plus pay its mana cost

When Lion’s Eye Diamond enters the battlefield you may activate its ability (Discard your hand, Sacrifice this artifact: Add three mana of any one color). That activation is a mana ability that resolves immediately (it’s not on the stack) and can be activated only at a time you could cast an instant [Ruling 2004-10-04].
Step 4
Use the three mana generated by Lion’s Eye Diamond to pay the mana portion of the escape cost to cast Brain Freeze from your graveyard (you still must exile three other cards from your graveyard as part of Brain Freeze’s escape cost) [Ruling 2020-01-24].
Step 5
When you cast Brain Freeze it is a spell being cast this turn, so the Storm triggered ability on Brain Freeze triggers and will create copies equal to the number of spells cast before it this turn; because LED was cast earlier this turn it increases the Storm count by one (Storm’s behavior is a triggered ability on the stack) .
Step 6
Resolve the Storm triggered ability (it creates spell copies on the stack); you may choose new targets for those copies when they’re created per the Storm rule . Note the Storm trigger itself is a triggered ability on the stack and can be countered like other triggered abilities [Ruling 2022-12-08].
Step 7
As each copy of Brain Freeze resolves it will cause its controller to mill three cards; the original Brain Freeze (the non-copy) will also resolve and then, as the final part of its resolution, it is put into its owner’s graveyard .
Step 8
When you sacrificed Lion’s Eye Diamond it went to your graveyard, and Underworld Breach’s static ability means it now has escape again; provided you still have three other cards to exile you can escape LED again and repeat the sequence (cast LED, use it for mana, cast/escape Brain Freeze, generate Storm copies) until you run out of graveyard fodder or the loop is stopped by an opponent (for example by countering the Storm trigger) [Ruling 2004-10-04] [Ruling 2022-12-08].
Resolution
You may cast Lion’s Eye Diamond and Brain Freeze from your graveyard using Underworld Breach’s escape ability; each cast of Brain Freeze is a spell cast that will cause the Storm triggered ability to trigger and create copies equal to the number of spells cast earlier this turn . Lion’s Eye Diamond’s discard/sacrifice activation is a mana ability that resolves immediately and can produce the mana you need to pay escape/mana costs [Ruling 2004-10-04]. Escape requires exiling three other cards from your graveyard as part of the cost when you cast the card from your graveyard [Ruling 2020-01-24]. The Storm triggers themselves are triggered abilities on the stack and can be countered just like other triggered abilities [Ruling 2022-12-08]; when Brain Freeze (or any copy) resolves it mills the chosen player three cards and then the resolving spell is put into its owner’s graveyard as the final part of resolution and copies that are not on the stack cease to exist .
