AI DraftFeb 26, 2026

Fervor + Krenko, Mob Boss + Skirk Prospector

Overview
With Fervor on the battlefield, your creatures have haste, so Krenko, Mob Boss can be tapped to activate even if it just entered your control ; when Krenko's ability resolves it creates X Goblin tokens where X counts all Goblins you control (including Krenko) [Ruling 2012-07-01] and those tokens enter the battlefield under your control and therefore have haste from Fervor . You can immediately sacrifice those newly created Goblins to Skirk Prospector for {R} because the sacrifice cost does not include a tap and is not restricted by summoning sickness , and you may sacrifice Skirk Prospector itself as well (but must sacrifice it last if you want to use it for mana) [Ruling 2022-12-08].
Step 1
Ensure it is your turn and you control Fervor, Krenko, and Skirk Prospector.
Step 2
Because Fervor gives your creatures haste, you may activate Krenko’s {T}: Create X 1/1 red Goblin creature tokens ability even if Krenko just entered under your control and the creature is not affected by summoning-sickness for tap costs .
Step 3
Pay any costs and tap Krenko to activate its ability; when the ability resolves it creates X tokens where X is the number of Goblins you control (including Krenko) [Ruling 2012-07-01] and those tokens enter the battlefield under your control .
Step 4
Those new tokens are creatures you control and therefore have haste from Fervor , though haste is irrelevant to sacrificing them because Skirk Prospector’s cost is a sacrifice, not a tap .
Step 5
Activate Skirk Prospector’s ability by sacrificing any Goblin you control (including the newly created tokens) to add {R} to your mana pool; you may sacrifice Skirk Prospector itself for mana as well, but sacrifice it last if you still need it for additional activations [Ruling 2022-12-08].
Resolution
If you control Fervor, Krenko, Mob Boss, and Skirk Prospector on your turn, you may tap Krenko (even if it was just put onto the battlefield) to create X 1/1 Goblin tokens, where X is the number of Goblins you control including Krenko [Ruling 2012-07-01]. The tokens enter the battlefield under your control and have haste from Fervor , though haste is not required to sacrifice them. You may immediately sacrifice those tokens to Skirk Prospector for {R} because Skirk Prospector’s ability has a sacrifice cost rather than a tap cost and is therefore not prevented by the summoning-sickness rule . You may also sacrifice Skirk Prospector itself for mana, but once you sacrifice it you cannot use it again that turn, so sacrifice it last if you want its mana too [Ruling 2022-12-08].
