The Gitrog Monster + The Necrobloom

Overview
When a land card is put into your graveyard, The Gitrog Monster’s triggered ability will trigger and, as it resolves, you would draw a card; Necrobloom’s static ability grants land cards in your graveyard dredge 2, which can be used instead of that draw (so you may return a land from your graveyard to your hand and mill two cards instead of drawing). Lands put into your graveyard by that milling can themselves cause additional Gitrog triggers (but if multiple lands are put into your graveyard at the same time, Gitrog triggers only once) [Ruling 2025-01-24].
Step 1
A land card is put into your graveyard from anywhere (for example: you sacrificed a land, an opponent destroyed it, you milled it, or you discarded it).
Step 2
That event causes The Gitrog Monster’s triggered ability "Whenever one or more land cards are put into your graveyard from anywhere, draw a card" to trigger and be placed on the stack.
Step 3
Players get priority; the trigger resolves when it reaches the top of the stack. At resolution the effect would make you draw a card.
Step 4
When that draw would occur, check for replacement/alternate effects. Necrobloom’s static ability grants land cards in your graveyard dredge 2, which provides an optional replacement to drawing: you may return a land card from your graveyard to your hand and mill two cards instead of drawing a card (this is a replacement-for-draw choice introduced by Necrobloom’s text).
Step 5
If you choose to use dredge, you return the chosen land card from your graveyard to your hand and then mill two cards (putting the top two cards of your library into your graveyard).
Step 6
Any land cards put into your graveyard by that milling are "put into your graveyard from anywhere" and will cause The Gitrog Monster’s ability to trigger again; if two or more lands were put into the graveyard simultaneously by that mill, Gitrog’s ability triggers only once for that event [Ruling 2025-01-24].
Resolution
Whenever Gitrog’s triggered ability would make you draw a card, you may use Necrobloom’s dredge ability on a land card in your graveyard to replace that draw and return that land to your hand and mill two cards instead of drawing. The lands milled this way are “put into your graveyard from anywhere” and will cause The Gitrog Monster’s ability to trigger again (multiple lands put into the graveyard simultaneously cause only one trigger) [Ruling 2025-01-24] . If Necrobloom is not present (or its static ability is not applying) at the moment a draw would occur, its dredge ability is not available to replace that draw .
