Overview

Conduit of Worlds lets you play lands from your graveyard (you play lands, you don’t cast them) ; Glacial Chasm is a land whose ETB has you sacrifice a land, and if you control no other lands you must sacrifice Glacial Chasm itself (Ruling [2008-08-01]); sacrificing a land puts it into your graveyard which will trigger The Gitrog Monster’s draw ability (Ruling [2025-01-24]). Conduit’s activated ability to cast nonland cards from your graveyard is subject to its "haven't cast a spell this turn" restriction and the related ruling about counting spells cast earlier in the turn even if Conduit wasn’t on the battlefield (Ruling [2023-02-04]), but that activated ability does not apply to lands because lands are played, not cast .

Step 1

Have The Gitrog Monster and Conduit of Worlds under your control and a copy of Glacial Chasm in your graveyard.

Step 2

Play Glacial Chasm from your graveyard using Conduit of Worlds’ continuous ability to play lands from your graveyard (lands are played, not cast) .

Step 3

Glacial Chasm enters the battlefield. Its triggered ability “When this land enters, sacrifice a land.” goes on the stack and will resolve as a separate event.

Step 4

When Glacial Chasm’s ETB trigger resolves you choose a land you control to sacrifice. If you control no other lands you must sacrifice Glacial Chasm itself (Ruling [2008-08-01]).

Step 5

The sacrificed land is put into your graveyard from the battlefield, which is an event that triggers The Gitrog Monster’s ability to draw a card (Whenever one or more land cards are put into your graveyard from anywhere, draw a card) — the trigger is placed on the stack (Ruling [2025-01-24]).

Step 6

When The Gitrog Monster’s trigger resolves you draw the card(s). If multiple lands were put into your graveyard at the same time, Gitrog’s ability triggers only once for that event (Ruling [2025-01-24]).

Step 7

On subsequent turns you may play the land you sacrificed from your graveyard again using Conduit’s continuous ability, and The Gitrog Monster allows you an additional land play each turn.

Resolution

You may play Glacial Chasm from your graveyard using Conduit of Worlds. When Glacial Chasm enters the battlefield you must sacrifice a land; the land you sacrifice is put into your graveyard and that event will trigger The Gitrog Monster’s draw ability (Ruling [2025-01-24]). If you controlled no other lands when Glacial Chasm’s ETB ability resolves, you must sacrifice Glacial Chasm itself (Ruling [2008-08-01]); that also puts Glacial Chasm into your graveyard and will trigger The Gitrog Monster once for that land being put into your graveyard (Ruling [2025-01-24]). Conduit’s cast-from-graveyard activated ability is irrelevant for playing Glacial Chasm (lands are played, not cast) , and the activated ability’s spell-count condition follows Ruling [2023-02-04] if you do try to use it for nonland cards.
