Forsaken Miner + Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel + Warren Soultrader

Overview
If you have Sephiroth and Warren Soultrader on the battlefield and Forsaken Miner in your graveyard, sacrificing a creature via Warren Soultrader (sacrifice is part of that ability's cost) will cause Sephiroth’s “Whenever another creature dies…” triggered ability to trigger and be put onto the stack targeting an opponent — that is a crime and, because Forsaken Miner is in your graveyard at the moment the triggered ability is put on the stack, Forsaken Miner’s graveyard ability will trigger and may be paid to return it to the battlefield . See the Forsaken Miner ruling for the exact timing condition for its trigger (Ruling [2024-04-12]).
Step 1
Activate Warren Soultrader’s ability: pay 1 life and sacrifice another creature as part of the activation cost; the sacrificed creature is put into its owner’s graveyard and thus 'dies' per .
Step 2
When that creature dies, Sephiroth’s triggered ability 'Whenever another creature dies, target opponent loses 1 life and you gain 1 life' triggers and is put onto the stack; because that triggered ability targets an opponent it is a crime for Forsaken Miner’s ability purposes, and placing that triggered ability on the stack is the moment the crime occurs (see Ruling [2024-04-12] and ).
Step 3
At the instant the Sephiroth triggered ability is put on the stack, if Forsaken Miner is in your graveyard its 'Whenever you commit a crime...' ability will trigger and be put on the stack (Ruling [2024-04-12]).
Step 4
Resolve triggered abilities in any order allowed by the game state (you control both triggers, so you arrange them when they are put on the stack). When Forsaken Miner’s trigger resolves you may pay {B}; if you do, return Forsaken Miner from your graveyard to the battlefield.
Step 5
When Sephiroth’s triggered ability resolves it causes the targeted opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life. That resolution itself does not cause additional 'dies' events (unless some other effect causes a creature to die as a result), but any creatures that died earlier already caused their 'another creature dies' triggers.
Resolution
When you activate Warren Soultrader’s ability and sacrifice another creature, that creature’s death causes Sephiroth’s “Whenever another creature dies, target opponent loses 1 life and you gain 1 life” triggered ability to be put on the stack. Because that triggered ability has a target that is an opponent, putting it on the stack constitutes a crime and will cause Forsaken Miner’s graveyard-triggered ability to trigger — but only if Forsaken Miner is in your graveyard at the instant the Sephiroth triggered ability is put on the stack (Ruling [2024-04-12]; definition of “dies” is ; triggered abilities function while their source is on the battlefield per ).
