Step 1

You control Glacial Chasm (a land), Crucible of Worlds (an artifact), and Zuran Orb (an artifact). Glacial Chasm's ETB ability is “When this land enters, sacrifice a land.” and it has cumulative upkeep—Pay 2 life .

Step 2

Glacial Chasm enters the battlefield. Its ETB trigger goes on the stack. When that trigger resolves you must sacrifice a land you control; if you control no other lands you must sacrifice Glacial Chasm itself when the trigger resolves [Ruling 2008-08-01].

Step 3

If you have another land permanent to sacrifice, you can choose that land and sacrifice it to satisfy Glacial Chasm's ETB. You cannot sacrifice a land that is only in your graveyard to satisfy this ETB because the ability asks you to sacrifice a land you control (a permanent) and a card in the graveyard is not a permanent .

Step 4

At the beginning of your upkeep, Glacial Chasm’s cumulative upkeep trigger(s) will put an age counter on it and then you may pay 2 life for each age counter on it. That payment (paying life) is made when the triggered ability resolves .

Step 5

You may respond to the cumulative upkeep trigger(s) while they are on the stack by activating Zuran Orb (its activated ability is “Sacrifice a land: You gain 2 life.”). To activate Zuran Orb you must sacrifice a land you currently control as a cost; you cannot sacrifice a land that is only in your graveyard nor activate abilities of a land card while it is in the graveyard (Crucible doesn't grant that) [Ruling 2018-07-13].

Step 6

If you activate Zuran Orb and sacrifice a land you control, you gain 2 life immediately (the Orb ability resolves), and the sacrificed land goes to your graveyard . Later in the turn (or on a later turn) you may play that land from your graveyard using Crucible of Worlds (playing it uses your land play for that turn).

Step 7

Using Zuran Orb to gain life can thus provide life to pay Glacial Chasm’s cumulative upkeep, but you must have lands as permanents to sacrifice and you are constrained by the usual limits on playing lands; Crucible only lets you play the land back later, it does not allow sacrificing or activating that land while it is in the graveyard [Ruling 2018-07-13].

Step 8

If you ever lack the life (or otherwise decline to pay the cumulative upkeep when its triggered ability resolves), you must sacrifice Glacial Chasm per .

Resolution

You may sacrifice lands you currently control to Zuran Orb to gain life and use that life to pay Glacial Chasm's cumulative upkeep (the upkeep payment happens when the upkeep ability resolves) . Crucible of Worlds lets you later play back lands from your graveyard as your land play, but it does not let you sacrifice or use lands while they are in the graveyard (you must have a land as a permanent to sacrifice it) [Ruling 2018-07-13]. If Glacial Chasm enters and you control no other lands, you must sacrifice Glacial Chasm itself when its ETB ability resolves [Ruling 2008-08-01].
