Crucible of Worlds + Exploration + Glacial Chasm

Overview
Crucible of Worlds lets you play lands from your graveyard (this is an ability that modifies what zones you may play lands from and thus functions from any zone) . Exploration gives you an additional land play on each of your turns and is cumulative with other such effects [2022-12-08]. Glacial Chasm’s ETB is a triggered ability that says “When this land enters, sacrifice a land.” If, when that triggered ability resolves, you control another land permanent you can sacrifice that land; if you control no other lands you must sacrifice Glacial Chasm itself [2008-08-01]. Glacial Chasm also has cumulative upkeep—Pay 2 life, which you must pay each upkeep for each age counter or sacrifice it .
Step 1
Beginning state: you control Crucible of Worlds and Exploration and it is a turn where you may play lands; you have Glacial Chasm (in hand or graveyard) and at least one other land card (in hand or graveyard). Crucible’s zone-changing play permission functions from any zone .
Step 2
You have two land plays available this turn if you haven’t used the extra from Exploration yet: one normal land play and one additional land play from Exploration (Exploration is cumulative with similar effects) [2022-12-08].
Step 3
Option A (play sacrificial land first): Use one land play to put another land permanent onto the battlefield (you may play it from your graveyard thanks to Crucible) ; then use your remaining land play to play Glacial Chasm. When Glacial Chasm’s ETB triggered ability resolves, you control another land permanent and may (and must) sacrifice a land permanent; you can sacrifice that other land so Glacial Chasm remains on the battlefield [2008-08-01].
Step 4
Option B (play Glacial Chasm first): Play Glacial Chasm as a land. Its ETB triggered ability is put on the stack. Before that triggered ability resolves you receive priority and may take actions that are legal while you have priority, including playing your extra land (for which Crucible allows the graveyard source) [2022-12-08]. After you create another land permanent, allow the ETB sacrifice trigger to resolve and sacrifice that other land, leaving Glacial Chasm on the battlefield [2008-08-01].
Step 5
If no other land permanent exists when the ETB sacrifice trigger resolves (for example, you have no other lands and you didn’t or couldn’t play one before resolution), you must sacrifice Glacial Chasm itself (not some card in your graveyard) [2008-08-01].
Step 6
Separately, on future upkeeps Glacial Chasm’s cumulative upkeep—Pay 2 life—will trigger; you must put an age counter on it and may pay life for each age counter or sacrifice it according to the cumulative upkeep rules .
Resolution
You can use Crucible of Worlds plus Exploration to play another land from your graveyard so that when Glacial Chasm enters you have a land permanent available to sacrifice; you may play that sacrificial land either before Glacial Chasm enters or after Glacial Chasm enters but before its ETB sacrifice trigger resolves (land plays are special actions you can take while you have priority) [2022-12-08] [2008-08-01]. If no other land permanent exists when the sacrifice trigger resolves, you must sacrifice Glacial Chasm itself [2008-08-01]. Crucible does not let you activate abilities of lands in your graveyard or otherwise sacrifice them from the graveyard to satisfy Glacial Chasm’s ETB [2018-07-13]. Also note Glacial Chasm’s cumulative upkeep (Pay 2 life) follows the cumulative upkeep rules .
